It is necessary to underscore the fact the field of spiritual counselling and care is certainly not an alternative to the field of psychological counselling and guidance, or psychology and psychiatry. On the contrary, it is an interdisciplinary fieldm of study which emphasizes thephysical, psychological and spiritual well-being of human beings, in cooperation with the mentioned disciplines.
